Jackson Hewitt Inc. is hiring experienced, full-time seasonal Tax Preparers across multiple NJ storefronts, including Hamilton and Trenton. Bring your tax experience and build client relationships in a fast-paced, client-facing role that emphasizes accuracy and helpful guidance.

You will prepare federal and state returns, interview clients, review documents, and explain results while delivering top-notch service. Training is provided to support success during the tax season.

Formación

• Experience preparing individual tax returns in a paid setting.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state taxes for individuals.
• Proficient with tax preparation software and learning new systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized for a busy season.
• Available for full-time seasonal work, including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare accurate individual federal and state income tax returns.
• Interview clients to understand tax situations and identify deductions/credits.
• Review documents and resolve missing or inconsistent information.

• Deliver friendly, attentive service to encourage returns and referrals.
• Schedule appointments and follow up with clients.
• Work with office team to manage appointments and walk-ins.

We are an independently owned Jackson Hewitt Tax Service franchise seeking approximately 10 experienced, full-time seasonal Tax Preparers across five storefront offices - TRENTON,NJ EWING,NJ HAMILTON,NJ PHILADELPHIA, PA.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Prepare accurate individual federal and state income tax returns.

• Protect confidential information and follow applicable tax preparation requirements and company procedures.
