Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Inc. is seeking experienced, full-time seasonal Tax Preparers across multiple storefront offices including Philadelphia, NJ and PA. Bring your tax experience, build client relationships, and contribute to a successful tax season.

You will interview clients, prepare federal and state returns, identify deductions, explain results, and deliver friendly service. Availability for evenings and weekends is required; training is provided and opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preparing individual income tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state individual income taxes.
• Confidence using tax preparation software and learning new systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
• Dependability and the ability to stay organized during a busy tax season.
• A friendly, professional attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Availability for full-time seasonal work, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to meet applicable tax preparer registration and credential requirements.

Responsibilities
