Job summary

CLA is seeking an Experienced Tax Associate to join our Albuquerque, NM or Phoenix/Tucson, AZ offices. You will prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, performing limited tax research with guidance, and assist clients to gather information for tax return completion and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA eligibility preferred and about 1 year of relevant experience (internships may count).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA eligibility preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred (prior internship(s) may be acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of income tax returns, as well as performing limited tax research with guidance

• Completes tax related research and special projects as needed.
• Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results.
