Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) is hiring an Experienced Tax Associate to join our Albuquerque, NM or Phoenix/Tucson, AZ offices. You will prepare various tax returns, handle routine client questions, and complete tax research under guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA eligibility preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred (internships may be acceptable)

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of income tax returns, with guidance.
• Handles routine client tax questions and collects information for tax return completion.
• Has the ability to prepare simple tax returns.
• Completes tax related research and special projects as needed.
• Works with clients to resolve complex issues and get results.

Education

As a Tax Associate, you will:

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of income tax returns, as well as performing limited tax research with guidance
• Handles routine client tax questions and works with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance
• Have the ability to prepare simple tax returns.
• Completes tax related research and special projects as needed.
• Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA eligibility preferred
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred (prior experience via internship(s) may be acceptable)
