Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) seeks an Experienced Tax Associate to join our Albuquerque, NM or Phoenix/Tucson, AZ offices. You will prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns, and perform limited tax research with guidance.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA eligibility preferred; about 1 year of relevant experience (internships acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of income tax returns, as well as performing limited tax research with guidance
• Handles routine client tax questions and works with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance
• Have the ability to prepare simple tax returns
• Completes tax related research and special projects as needed
• Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results

As a Tax Associate, you will:

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of income tax returns, as well as performing limited tax research with guidance
• Handles routine client tax questions and works with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance
• Have the ability to prepare simple tax returns
• Completes tax related research and special projects as needed
• Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA eligibility preferred
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred (prior experience via internship(s) may be acceptable)
