Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is seeking an Experienced Tax Associate to join our Albuquerque, NM or Phoenix/Tucson, AZ offices. You will prepare a variety of tax returns and perform research under guidance, while assisting clients with information gathering for compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, CPA eligibility is preferred, and about 1 year of relevant experience or internships may count. CLA values mentoring and your career growth within a supportive firm culture.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of income tax returns, as well as performing limited tax research with guidance.
• Handles routine client tax questions and works with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance.

• Completes tax related research and special projects as needed.
• Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results.

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of income tax returns, as well as performing limited tax research with guidance
• Handles routine client tax questions and works with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance
• Have the ability to prepare simple tax returns.

• Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA eligibility preferred
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred (prior experience via internship(s) may be acceptable)
