Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• 4+ years of structural engineering design experience in building design or consulting.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems using steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, wood, and cold-formed steel.
• Develop structural calculations, construction documents, and detailed drawings.
• Prepare and review technical specifications and structural design documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers to coordinate designs.
• Apply building codes and standards to ensure safe, efficient structures.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and design development.
• Conduct site visits to observe construction and address field issues.
• Assist with construction administration and resolve design questions.
