Guns N' Hoses Roofing & Siding – Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Experienced Storm Restoration Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is not an entry‑level sales position.

We want a proven sales professional with a strong background in insurance restoration, storm damage, and residential roofing sales. As part of West Michigan's trusted exterior restoration company, you'll generate new business, inspect properties for storm damage, educate homeowners on restoration options, and guide

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in residential roofing or storm restoration sales.
• Proven success in insurance-funded roofing projects (hail/wind).
• Strong knowledge of homeowner insurance claims processes.
• Experience meeting with insurance adjusters and reviewing loss scopes.
• Track record of closing high-value residential sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Experienced Storm Restoration Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, inspecting properties for storm damage, educating homeowners, managing insurance restoration opportunities, and closing profitable roofing and exterior restoration projects.

This position is ideal for a self‑driven sales professional who understands storm restoration sales, insurance claims, and relationship‑based selling. You'll have the support of an established operations team while maintaining the autonomy to grow your territory and maximize your earning potential.

Responsibilities

• Generate and develop new residential roofing and exterior restoration opportunities.
• Conduct roof, siding, and exterior inspections following hail, wind, and storm events.
• Identify storm‑related damage and educate homeowners on available restoration options.
• Guide homeowners through the insurance claims process from initial inspection through project completion.
• Meet with insurance adjusters when necessary to ensure accurate scope documentation.
• Prepare and present professional estimates and proposals.
• Negotiate and close roofing and exterior restoration contracts.
• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build referral relationships within the community.
• Accurately document sales activities and customer interactions using company CRM tools.
• Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales goals.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential roofing sales, storm restoration sales, or insurance restoration sales experience.
• Demonstrated success selling insurance‑funded roofing projects involving hail and wind damage.
• Strong understanding of the homeowner insurance claims process.
• Experience meeting with insurance adjusters and reviewing scopes of loss.
• Proven track record of closing high‑value residential sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing relationships within the Grand Rapids and West Michigan market.
• Experience selling roofing, siding, gutters, or exterior restoration services.
• Experience using CRM and estimating software.
• HAAG certification or equivalent industry certifications are a plus.
