Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Security Service Technician with programming, troubleshooting, and repair capabilities to work with our service team and clients. This role focuses on ensuring life safety systems are repaired efficiently while maintaining performance and safety.

Candidates should have 2–5 years in a building security systems role, knowledge of access control, IP video, and data systems, and be able to program multi-manufacturer platforms.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair security systems including analog, IP, addressable, and networked solutions.
• Program and maintain intermediate equipment and systems including intrusion detection, video surveillance, asset protection, environmental detection, holdup/duress, integrated systems and equipment related to the alarm monitoring station.
• Produce repair reports and field surveys for customer acceptance and billing information.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair security systems including analog, IP, addressable, and networked solutions.
• Program and maintain intermediate equipment and systems including intrusion detection, video surveillance, asset protection, environmental detection, holdup/duress, integrated systems and equipment related to the alarm monitoring station.
• Train and develop other Service Technicians on equipment and company policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support to end users and technicians when required.
