Qualifications

• 3+ years veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing California RVT license.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care and monitoring.
• Anesthetic induction, monitoring and recovery.
• Surgical assistance and aseptic technique.
• Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography.
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Accurate medical records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive inpatient care and monitor hospitalized patients.
• Administer medications and IV fluids; support treatment plans.
• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia.
• Assist with surgeries: prep, setup, instrument handling.
• Perform dental procedures including prophylaxis and radiography.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review plans and discharge instructions with clients clearly.
