OU Health Yukon Emergency Department is seeking an Experienced RN for night shifts to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. The RN I role emphasizes safety, nursing standards, and patient-focused care while collaborating with physicians and support staff.

The position requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing, 0–3 years of RN experience, an active RN license (OK or eNLC), and BLS certification, with a commitment to OU Health values.

Qualificações

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• 0–3 years of patient care RN experience.
• Active RN license (OK) or multi-state compact (eNLC) required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
• Ability to align with OU Health values and professional practice standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Documents patient responses and changes in physician orders.
• Assists physicians with exams and minor diagnostic procedures.
• Monitors physiological data and intervenes when necessary.
• Administers medications as prescribed.
• Initiates and manages IV infusions and blood products.
• Delivers safe and competent patient care.
• Communicates care plans to patients and families.
• Delegates tasks to clinical support staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
