Job summary

OU Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the South Emergency Department/Freestanding, night shift. The RN provides high-quality patient care, collaborates with physicians, and documents patient progress while ensuring safety and comfort in a busy ED setting.

Responsibilities include administering medications, managing IVs, performing minor procedures with the physician, and educating families on care plans. Requires an Oklahoma RN license and BLS certification on hire.

Qualifications

• RN-level nursing knowledge and clinical skills.
• Ability to document patient responses and physician orders.

• Ability to engage with diverse patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and physician orders.
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures.
