Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System seeks a Clinical Nurse II in Maryland for full-time day shifts in Bel Air. You will provide and coordinate independent care to patients within a clinical specialty as a participative member of the multidisciplinary team.

Requires Maryland RN licensure, 12+ months experience, and AHA BLS. Unit-specific certifications (PALS, ACLS, NRP) may be required. Compensation ranges from $40.50 to $54.18 per hour plus shift differential; benefits described in UMMS guide.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice under Maryland Board of Nursing Compact agreements.
• More than 12 months nursing experience.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Must meet unit specific certification requirements: PALS, ACLS, NRP.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates independent care to patients within a clinical specialty as a fully effective team member.
• Serves as a clinical resource for others and applies evidence in practice.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate care and advocate for patient/family needs.
• Supports unit-based quality and safety initiatives and participates in governance activities.
