Job summary

Mercy in Springfield, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Trauma Center. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center.

This role offers graduate and experienced RN sign-on bonuses up to $20,000, relocation assistance up to $3,000, PTO frontload, and student loan forgiveness options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State approved School of Nursing.
• Possess a current RN license by Missouri State Board of Nursing.
• Hospital-based experience required; ED experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and TNCC certifications required or within probation period.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Works in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center environment.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of a State approved School of Nursing.
• Licensure: Possess a current RN licensure with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit.
• Experience: Must have hospital based experience. Preferred one year Emergency Department experience.
• Certifications: ETC and Acute Care Center RN’s must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. ETC RN’s must have a current ACLS card or complete a course within 6 months of their hire date. ETC RN’s must have current PALS or ENPC, and TNCC cards or complete courses within one year of hire date.
