Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking an Experienced RN to join the Clinical Decision Unit within the Emergency Department. You will provide and supervise nursing care under the ED team, using the nursing process to care for patients who need observation up to 48 hours.

Must have 1+ year RN experience and active NC RN license; BSN preferred; eligible for relocation up to $8,000 and a $15,000 commitment bonus for experienced RNs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical nurse experience required.
• Graduation from an accredited BSN or higher program or ADN/diploma as applicable.
• Current NC RN license or compact license required; BSN enrollment may be expected if no degree."

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care.
• Utilize the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate) to achieve department goals.
• Care for patients in the CDU under ED supervision and participate in professional practice activities.
