Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, seeks an Experienced RN for the Emergency Department. You will prioritize patient-centered care, perform nursing assessments, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team. Shift options include days and nights on a full-time three-day cycle.

This role requires a current NC RN license and BLS; BSN or higher is preferred. Eligible experienced nurses may qualify for relocation assistance and specialty certifications as part of the DUHS

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of RN experience in a clinical setting.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN/ASN or Diploma).
• Current RN license in North Carolina; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care to patients.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Contribute to clinical ladder activities, education, and departmental committees.
