Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina is seeking an Experienced RN to provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced Clinical Decision Unit. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to nursing processes, and collaboration with the ED team to deliver timely interventions.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher, maintains NC RN licensure with BLS, and commits to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience (1+ years) as a clinical nurse is required.
• All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within five years of their start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care using the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating).
• Plan and provide advanced and/or specialized nursing care for patients under the ED team guidance.
• Adhere to all laws, regulations and DUHS Professional Practice model; participate in clinical ladder, committees and research activities.
