Job summary

Cool Techs is seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join a family-owned team serving the Shenandoah Valley since 2014. This role offers stable, year-round work with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow.

You will install residential HVAC systems, read blueprints, test and adjust equipment, and ensure top-quality workmanship. The position emphasizes clean installations, craftsmanship, and proper, code-compliant setups.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record is required.
• Strong understanding of HVAC installation practices is required.
• Knowledge of ductwork, airflow, and system layouts is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams is required.
• Experience with low-voltage wiring is preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs is required.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• Complete high-quality installations efficiently and professionally.
• Read blueprints and layouts to ensure systems are installed properly and up to code.
• Test systems and make adjustments to ensure proper operation.
• Work closely with team members to complete projects on schedule.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Deliver a strong customer experience from start to finish.
• Mentor and assist apprentices when needed.
