Vail Resorts is hiring an Intermediate Rental Technician for the 2026/2027 winter season at our mountain operations in New York. You’ll provide guests with equipment services and information to support their outdoor adventures.

Starting wages range from $23.75 to $26.57 per hour, with full- and part-time hours available, and a robust benefits package including free ski passes and discounts, wellness programs, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in guest services or similar role.
• Ability to communicate effectively and lead others if needed.
• Display mechanical aptitude for tuning/repair tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service while advising on gear conditions.
• Perform tuning and repair services for guests.
• Work with teammates to maintain safety standards.
• May include cashiering, retail, rentals, or other departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

The expected pay range is$23.75/hr - $26.57/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
