Shift Details

Positions may be available on various shifts, including weekend programs and per diem options. Full-time positions are 36 or 40 hours per week; part-time positions are less than 36 hours; and per diem requires a minimum of 2 shifts per month. Applicants should be able to complete a 7-day classroom orientation followed by unit orientation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of assigned patients.
• Develop individualized care plans, set patient outcome expectations, and prioritize care using the nursing process, collaborating with team members to uphold professional standards.
• Serve as a professional role model and resource, demonstrating the Network’s Service Excellence Standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies regarding attendance and dress code.

Training and Experience

Minimum of one year of RN experience required. All areas offer an individualized orientation program. Current BLS certification is required. Nurses with less than 1 year of experience should visit our internship page: https://www.slhn.org/nursing-opportunities

Education

Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or New Jersey (Warren Campus).

Physical and Sensory Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, and reach as specified, and perceive attributes through touch, hearing, and vision. Transports patients weighing up to 500 lbs. and performs physical tasks as described.
