Shift Details

Positions are available on various shifts, including weekend and per diem options. Full-time positions are 36 or 40 hours per week; part-time is less than 36 hours. Holiday and weekend work may be required per unit policies. Per diem staff must work at least 2 shifts per month. Candidates must complete initial classroom training followed by unit orientation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of assigned patients.
• Develop individualized care plans, set expected outcomes, and prioritize patient care using the nursing process, collaborating with team members.
• Serve as a professional role model and resource, demonstrating the Network’s Service Excellence Standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies regarding attendance and dress code.

Training and Experience

Minimum of one year of RN experience required. All areas offer an individualized orientation program. Current BLS certification is required. Nurses with less than one year of experience should visit our internship page: https://www.slhn.org/nursing-opportunities.

Education

Current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or New Jersey (Warren Campus).

Physical and Sensory Requirements

Ability to sit up to 2 hours/day, stand up to 10 hours/day, walk 6 hours/day, and lift objects up to 75 lbs. Transport patients weighing up to 500 lbs. Must have good hearing, vision, touch, and mobility to perform essential functions.
