Our acute care nurses work in a premier environment focused on innovative, personalized, and safe patient care. We offer various specialties to expand your skills and knowledge, including Oncology, Neuroscience, Renal, Trauma, Orthopedics, Acute Rehab, Cardiac, Short Stay, and Medical-Surgical care.
Positions are available on various shifts, including weekend and per diem options. Full-time positions are 36 or 40 hours per week; part-time is less than 36 hours. Holiday and weekend work may be required per unit policies. Per diem staff must work at least 2 shifts per month. Candidates must complete initial classroom training followed by unit orientation.
Minimum of one year of RN experience required. All areas offer an individualized orientation program. Current BLS certification is required. Nurses with less than one year of experience should visit our internship page: https://www.slhn.org/nursing-opportunities.
Current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or New Jersey (Warren Campus).
Ability to sit up to 2 hours/day, stand up to 10 hours/day, walk 6 hours/day, and lift objects up to 75 lbs. Transport patients weighing up to 500 lbs. Must have good hearing, vision, touch, and mobility to perform essential functions.
