We offer a variety of specialties to expand your skills and knowledge, including Oncology, Neuroscience, Renal, Trauma, Orthopedics, Acute Rehab, Cardiac, Short Stay, and Medical-Surgical care.
Positions are available on various shifts, including weekend programs and per diem options. Full-time positions are 36 or 40 hours per week; part-time is less than 36 hours. Holiday and weekend work is required per unit policies. Per diem nurses work a minimum of 2 shifts per month. Successful candidates must complete an initial 7-day classroom orientation followed by unit orientation.
Minimum of one year of registered nurse experience required. Current BLS certification is mandatory. Nurses with less than one year of experience should visit our internship page: https://www.slhn.org/nursing-opportunities.
Must be a Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Pennsylvania or New Jersey (Warren Campus).
Must be able to sit up to 2 hours, stand for up to 10 hours, walk for 6 hours, and lift objects up to 75 lbs. Transports patients weighing up to 500 lbs. Must have normal hearing, vision, and touch perception, and the ability to perceive attributes through touch.
