Job summary

PDS Health in California is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our compassionate team. You will assist the dentist, maintain a clean, sterile environment, perform radiographs and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.

You will have access to modern dental technology, support to develop clinical efficiency, and will work with a team that cares about patients and the local community.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Registered Dental Assistant is preferred.
• Ability to assist the dentist with treatment planning and patient care.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and adhere to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best treatment.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories in line with ADA and state guidelines.

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Compensation Information

$24.50-$34.00 / Hourly
