Job summary

PDS Health in Fairfield, California, is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join a team dedicated to clinical excellence and patient-centered care. You’ll contribute to a welcoming patient experience while supporting the dentist and maintaining a modern, efficient clinical space.

As a key member of the clinical team, you will perform x-rays and intra-oral imaging, ensure a sterile environment, and uphold OSHA/HIPAA and related regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Assisting the dentist to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with guidelines and regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, DOL).

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist as necessary to gain patient commitment for treatment.
• Maintain sterile environment and perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per guidelines and regulations.

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Compensation Information

$23.00-$32.25 / Hourly
