Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists in delivering the best possible patient care. You will help gain patient commitment for treatment, operate x-ray and imaging tasks, and maintain a clean, sterile dental environment under dentist direction.

You will also ensure instruments and operatories meet ADA guidelines and all relevant regulations, contributing to a safe, efficient clinic workflow and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with ADA guidelines while complying with State, Federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Compensation Information

$20.00-$27.75 / Hourly
