Job summary

Glade Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team in Texas. You will support dentists, help ensure a great patient experience, and perform x-rays and intra-oral imaging as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dental Assistant.
• Experience with dental assisting tasks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for treatment.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and take x-rays/intra-oral photos as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory equipment per ADA and regulatory guidelines.

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Compensation Information

$21.25-$29.50 / Hourly
