Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking an experienced Mobile Reefer Technician to service transport refrigeration systems on trucks and trailers in the Cincinnati/Middletown, OH area. You will diagnose, repair and service Thermo King units and related components while maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on experience with reefer systems, EPA 608/609 certifications, and a valid driver’s license. Overtime, after-hours pay, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical experience in transport refrigeration, reefer service, truck service.
• EPA 608 and EPA 609 Type 2 Certification required.
• Experience working on Thermo King units: V320 max, E200, C600, SB.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• DOT physical and drug screen can be passed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and service transport refrigeration systems and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, diesel and refrigeration problems on trucks and trailers.
• Repair and maintain reefer units, truck air conditioning systems, trailer refrigeration equipment and related components.
• Read, interpret and apply electrical and refrigeration diagrams and schematics.
• Accurately document work performed.
• Maintain all safety standards for repairs and safe operation of truck and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Hourly pay + overtime + after-hours-call pay

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is looking for an experienced Mobile Reefer Technician who knows truck and trailer refrigeration systems.

A successful applicant for this position will have strong experience with:

• Knowledge and repair experience with Thermo King, SB and Precedent units.
• V-320 units are transit vans also helpful
• Ability to work safety and independently
