Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking an experienced Mobile Reefer Technician to diagnose, repair and service transport refrigeration systems on trucks and trailers in the Cincinnati, OH area. You’ll work with Thermo King, SB and Precedent units, and have hands-on experience with diesel-powered refrigeration equipment.

Expect to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair reefer units, read electrical schematics, document work, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical experience in transport refrigeration, reefer service, truck service.
• EPA 608 and 609 Type 2 Certification
• Experience working on Thermo King Units: V320 max, E200, C600, SB
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and service transport refrigeration systems and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, diesel and refrigeration problems on trucks and trailers.
• Repair and maintain reefer units, truck air conditioning systems, trailer refrigeration equipment and related components.
• Read, interpret and apply electrical and refrigeration diagrams and schematics.
• Accurately document work performed.
• Maintain all safety standards for repairs and safe operation of truck and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Hourly pay + overtime + after-hours-call pay

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is looking for an experienced Mobile Reefer Technician who knows truck and trailer refrigeration systems.

A successful applicant for this position will have strong experience with:

• Transport refrigeration
• Reefer unit service
• Truck HVAC / auxiliary HVAC
• Trailer refrigeration systems
• Diesel-powered refrigeration equipment
• Knowledge and repair experience with Thermo King, SB and Precedent units.
• V-320 units are transit vans also helpful
• Mobile truck service
• Ability to work safety and independently
