Job summary

FastTrack Staffing is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our client’s team in Michigan. The role requires setting up and operating a press brake, reading blueprints, and delivering quality parts that meet specifications.

You will record production data in the ERP system, follow safety standards, and maintain a clean work area. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of press brake experience with set-up skills.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed work instructions, blueprints, drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools and measuring devices (calipers, micrometers).
• Familiarity with ERP systems for production tracking.
• Physically capable of lifting 35–40 lbs and standing or sitting for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality parts meeting specifications.
• Record daily production and scrap in ERP system.
• Read blueprints and work instructions.
• Follow daily schedules and meet production goals.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate production issues to team lead or supervisor.
• Set up, adjust, and operate the press brake.
• Change tooling, ram position/speed, and backstop as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Review and set up tooling for each job.
• Press the first piece and adjust the machine.
