Job summary

Midwest Staffing Group seeks a Press Brake Setup/Operator to set up, operate and maintain press brake machines for precise metal bending. You will read blueprints, perform setups, inspect parts and program tasks using available machine features.

The position requires 5+ years of press brake experience, strong blueprint interpretation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Steel-toe boots and pre-employment drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in press brake setup and operation.
• Strong programming skills for press brake machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and lay out parts independently.
• High energy, dependability, and strong work ethic in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machinery per drawings and bend simulations.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring and gauging tools.
• Calculate and configure bend allowances for various metals.
• Maintain machine calibration and perform general maintenance.
• Read/interpret blueprints and layouts accurately.
• Program complex operations using all machine features.
• Overtime as needed; schedule Mon-Thu 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.
