Job summary

You will read blueprints, interpret diagrams, perform calculations, diagnose issues, and complete repairs per work orders. A valid Texas license or CDL is preferred, with five years of plumbing experience in a facilities environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Texas journeyman plumber license preferred; CDL preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with safe driving record.
• CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures and systems districtwide.
• Operate and maintain wastewater systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and complete repairs per work orders.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics; estimate materials and time.
• Maintain records of materials, labor, and inventory.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and equipment is in safe condition.
• Support principals and supervisors on district project needs.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed.
