Job summary

Comal ISD is seeking a Plumber to maintain and repair district plumbing systems across New Braunfels facilities. You will install, test and service pipes, fittings and fixtures while following codes and safety procedures.

The role requires five years in plumbing, a HS diploma or GED, and a Texas driver’s license; journeyman license is preferred. Expect after-hours calls and district-wide responsibilities in a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Five years of plumbing experience required or preferred.
• Education: HS diploma or GED; Texas journeyman license preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• CDL is preferred for district work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain and test pipes, fittings and fixtures.
• Determine sources of malfunctions and complete repairs per orders.
• Inspect completed work and ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain inventory and proper records of materials used.
• Respond to emergency calls and assist in project work.
