Job summary

QUEST DIAGNOSTICS INC is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Covington, LA, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and rotating weekends. The role offers a pay range of $20.00+ per hour and potential annual bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
