Job summary

Bush & Bush Law Group in Boston is seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Paralegal to support our attorneys in handling personal injury and employment law matters. The role focuses on managing case files, drafting documents, and ensuring timely communication with clients.

You will collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment, organize discovery materials, prepare exhibits for trial, and contribute to accurate case summaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred; paralegal certification is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively on multiple assignments at once.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, showing a strong commitment to client service.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and client correspondence.
• Maintain and manage active case files to ensure all necessary documentation is available for attorneys and clients.
• Assist attorneys in the discovery process, including gathering evidence, summarizing documents, and organizing case-related materials.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and attorneys, providing case updates and answering client inquiries with professionalism and compassion.
• Track important deadlines and manage the legal calendar for hearings, depositions, and administrative tasks.
• Assist in preparing exhibits and trial materials, ensuring everything is organized and ready prior to court appearances.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries or reports as needed by attorneys.
