Job summary

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice in Springfield, MO is seeking an immediate-caregiver to provide compassionate, one-on-one home care to our clients. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and the chance to build meaningful relationships with patients and families.

You will assist with activities of daily living, provide companionship and emotional support, monitor changes in condition, help with transfers, meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders while maintaining

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license required
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to pass background check
• Ability to pass a drug test

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, Dressing, Grooming)
• Provide Companionship and Emotional Support
• Support Clients with Higher Acuity Needs, Including: Transfers (use of gait belts, Hoyer lifts, etc.)
• Feeding Assistance & Meal Preparation
• Monitoring and Reporting Changes in Condition
• Light Housekeeping
• Medication Reminders
• Running errands
