Job summary

Novant Health Medical Group in Brunswick County, NC is seeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join a growing practice of three physicians and two APPs. You will support our total joint surgeon and provide clinical care for orthopedic patients in ambulatory and acute settings.

The ideal candidate has experience with casting, joint injections, suture removal and surgical assist. Prior total joint experience is preferred; you will work under the supervision of an orthopedic surgeon,

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license/registration in North Carolina.
• Board-certified or eligible in PA practice.
• Total joint experience preferred.

Our Orthopedic providers treat patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Candidates are responsible for performing a variety of functions under the supervision of the orthopedic surgeon. These include but are not limited to: seeing patients in the office setting, assisting in surgery and office procedures, taking call, evaluation of orthopedic diagnoses, and coordination of the patient care pathway.

This position would support our total joint surgeon and provide clinical care for orthopedic patients in an ambulatory and acute setting in Brunswick County, NC. We are looking for a candidate who is experienced in casting, joint injections, suture removal and surgical assist. The ideal candidate is patient-centric, flexible, adaptable, dependable, and treats each member of the team whether clinical or non-clinical as a valued part of the team.
