Job summary

Novant Health Medical Group in Brunswick County, NC is seeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join a growing practice of three physicians and two APPs. You will support our total joint surgeon and provide clinical care for orthopedic patients in ambulatory and acute settings.

The ideal candidate has experience with casting, joint injections, suture removal and surgical assist. Prior total joint experience is preferred; you will work under the supervision of an orthopedic surgeon,

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license/registration in North Carolina.
• Board-certified or eligible in PA practice.
• Total joint experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seeing patients in the office setting.
• Assisting in surgery and office procedures.
• Taking call.
• Evaluation of orthopedic diagnoses.
• Coordination of the patient care pathway.
• Casting, joint injections, suture removal, and surgical assist.
