Novant Health's Ortho&Spine Brunswick is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a growing orthopedic team, partnering with Dr. Browning in both clinic and surgical settings.

The role blends outpatient care with operating room duties in a hybrid schedule across Brunswick Medical Center and satellite offices in Supply and Leland, NC. A PA license, NCCPA certification, and DEA registration are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate Degree from an NCCPA-accredited physician assistant program is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a physician practice setting is preferred.
• Current PA license in the appropriate state is required.
• NCCPA certification and current DEA registration are required.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care in an orthopedic setting, including clinic and surgical support.
• Assist in the operating room and outpatient procedures with Dr. Browning.
• Collaborate with the orthopedic care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

What We Offer

Ortho&Spine Brunswick is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing orthopedic team and work alongside Dr. Benjamin Browning, a fellowship-trained Sports Medicine Surgeon. This is an excellent opportunity for a PA who enjoys a mix of clinic and surgical responsibilities in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

This is a hybrid clinic and operating room position, offering a dynamic blend of patient care, surgical assistance, and inpatient responsibilities. The PA will work closely with Dr. Browning in both outpatient and surgical settings, serving as a key member of the orthopedic care team.

Operating Room

• 1 day per week in the OR
• Surgical block: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Location: Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center

Clinic

• 2 days per week at the main office in Supply, NC
• 1.5 days per week at our Leland, NC satellite office
• Clinic hours:
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - Noon

What We're Looking For

• Education: Graduate Degree, required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, required.
• Experience: One to three years of experience working in a physician practice setting, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current PA license in appropriate state, required.
  • NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry, required.
• Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
