Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a claims adjuster to manage complex work-related injury claims from inception to completion. You will investigate, gather information, calculate wage statements, and communicate with injured workers, employers and legal counsel.

Must hold a Florida 6-20 All-Lines Adjuster license and be proficient with Riskmaster, Origami, Mitchell, AWPRx and ImageNow. Benefits from day one include health, life, dental, PTO, 403(b).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multi-jurisdictional experience (preferred).
• 5+ years of workers' compensation adjusting experience (required).
• Active Florida 6-20 All-Lines Adjuster License (Required).

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex work-related injury claims from inception to resolution.
• Communicate with injured workers, employers, and counsel on claim status.
• Review medical reports, wage statements, and reserves; approve settlements within authority.
• Manage litigation activities and maintain claims system records.
