Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN for MICU in Edmond on the night shift (PRN). The role involves caring for patients with complex conditions on the Med/Surg 3rd/4th floor and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities include medication administration, IV therapy, documentation, and patient/family communication. Requirements include an RN license in OK and BLS certification; 1+ year RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• 1+ years of RN patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for assigned patients.
• Document patient responses and update physician orders.
• Assist physicians in exams and minor procedures.
• Monitor patient data and intervene when changes occur.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Initiate and monitor IV infusions and blood products.
• Support discharge planning and patient education.
