Job summary

The RN II works under supervision, maintains standards, administers medications, monitors patients, documents responses, and collaborates with physicians to plan care.

Requires 3–5 years of RN experience, an Oklahoma RN license (or eNLC), and BLS certification; specialty certs are a plus. OU Health provides generous PTO, 401(k), and medical/dental plans.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: 3–5 years of patient care as a Registered Nurse.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in Oklahoma or eNLC; BLS certification; specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and maintains nursing professional practice standards.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, noting all changes in physician orders.
• Assists physician in examination and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Monitors patients, administers medications, and manages IV infusions and blood products.
