Honeycomb Management Group is seeking a Medical Assistant Phlebotomist to support physicians and nurses in patient care at our Memphis locations. The role demands strong medical terminology knowledge, excellent communication, and a patient-focused approach.

Qualified candidates should have five years of CMA experience and CMA or RMA certification. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, vital signs, EKGs, basic procedures, and scheduling coordination in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Must possess strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Patient-focused attitude and compassionate care

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare medical records for patient exams, document clinic visits and observations
• Assist with patient history taking, physical exams, and simple in-house procedures
• Record vital signs and measurements in patient chart
• Maintain exam and treatment rooms and inventory; report defective equipment
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens and prepare them for lab testing
• Administer breathing treatments and injections; perform EKGs
• Relate patient instructions to patients and respond to questions
• Provide patient and family teaching within knowledge scope
• Assist scheduling/referrals for treatments and follow-ups
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed
• Support lab duties and other clinical tasks as required
