Strong EMR skills and excellent customer service are essential. The CMA will triage patient messages, record vital signs, manage patient intake, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette.
• Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Computer proficiency and prior experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Provides clinical assistance under physician, associate practitioner or nursing staff.
• Performs clinical visits including catheter changes, medication administration and related procedures.
• Records and files lab results and patient information in EMR prior to appointments.
• Assists with office-based procedures and patient intake as needed.
• Triages messages from patients and front office staff to physicians and documents in EMR.
• Maintains patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
• Travels as required and performs other duties as assigned.
