Job summary

CMI Healthcare Services in Memphis is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (Part-Time) to support laboratory and patient care activities at Director's Row facility. You will collect specimens, enter vitals, manage supplies, and maintain patient records while following safety protocols. 0-2 years of experience and a state certification in Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy are required; blood collection experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience.
• Must hold a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist certification in the State where the treatment center is located.
• Blood collecting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of laboratory specimen collection, review, posting, and dissemination
• Maintain appropriate supplies inventory for all laboratory procedures
• Manage monthly patient lists for medical testing and follow-up testing
• Check patients’ vital signs and perform health assessments, TB skin tests and collect blood samples
• Enter vitals in Clinic Database
• Document medical information in the patient’s medical file
• Maintain the cleanliness of the lab and follow all universe safety precautions
• Complete reminder o-show calls to patients
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
