Job summary

McClure Engineering seeks an experienced Mechanical Designer to join a team delivering complex building and campus system projects. You will create detailed AutoCAD and Revit designs, perform field inspections, and work under a Sr. Mechanical Designer to sharpen skills.

Requirements include 5+ years in mechanical design/drafting, proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit, and ability to read 2D/3D drawings. Strong MS Office skills and initiative are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mechanical design/drafting including piping/ductwork sizing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Curiosity, initiative, and ownership of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and layout for projects; size piping/ductwork; layout equipment rooms.
• Review drawings for quality and compliance with standards and codes.
• Conduct field inspections to verify site conditions.
• Coordinate with internal/external team members and clients.
