Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Elkhart, IN is seeking a team member to assist in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. You will follow the production schedule to meet displayed fresh meat cuts and help ensure accurate orders.

You will maintain safety and sanitation procedures, assist with deliveries, and help with inventory control while building positive relationships with customers and leadership. A valid handjack/hilo license and CAO experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
