Job summary

Meijer in Beavercreek, Ohio is seeking a team member to assist with the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. You will follow the production schedule to ensure the correct cuts are available for advertised items and deliver quality product to customers.

You will help write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership while following safety and sanitation procedures and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
