Job summary

ProAmpac in Hartford, WI is hiring an experienced Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within the plant and to prepare ready pallets for Converting, Slitting, Pouch-making, and shipping. The role includes an optional $1/hour shift premium on the 2nd shift, a $2000 hire bonus, 11 paid holidays, full medical/dental/vision, 401k match, and a safety‑driven, team‑oriented culture.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, forklift experience (1+ year; 3+ preferred), and a valid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Warehouse or factory experience preferred.
• Computer skills are desirable for basic sourcing and inventory tasks.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience; 3+ years preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong communication, organization and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials within the plant.
• Prepare pallets for Converting, Slitting, Pouch‑making, Press and Laminating operations.
• Prepare finished goods for storage and transport to customers.
• Maintain and organize the warehouse efficiently.

Hours:

Second Shift :

• 10 hour | Mon-Thurs | 3:00PM-1:00AM

Wage:

• Wages range from $20-$23/hour based on experience
• $1/hour shift premium for 2nd shift

Warehouse Associate | Position Summary:

• This position is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within plant, prepares make-ready pallets for Converting, Slitting, Pouch-making, Press, and Laminating operations.
• Warehouse Associate is also responsible for preparing finished goods for storage and/or transport to customers, and for maintaining the warehouse.

Requirements:

• High school or equivalent education
• Warehouse or factory experience preferred
• Computer skills desired
• A minimum 1 YEAR of previous experience operating a sit-down forklift required. 3+ years of experience preferred.
• VALID Driver’s license required
• Excellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills to communicate and coordinate effectively with internal personnel and external carriers.
