Job summary

Boise Cascade is seeking a Material Handler (Forklift Operator) to receive, select, and load materials at our US operation. You will operate a forklift, verify orders, and support internal/external customers while maintaining safety and a clean work area.

The role supports daily tasks, requires adherence to OSHA standards, and offers opportunities in a large materials distribution network across the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience.
• Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions.
• Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw.
• Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance).
• Familiarity with building materials.
• Able to measure and calculate material lengths.

Responsibilities

• Receive, select, and load materials.
