Boise Cascade is seeking a Material Handler (Forklift Operator) to receive, select, and load materials. You will operate a forklift safely, verify order accuracy after packaging, and provide basic customer service to internal and external customers.

• High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience.
• Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions.
• Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions.
• Forklift experience preferred (sit-down/counterbalance)

Qualifications

• Basic:
  • High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
  • Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
  • Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw
• Preferred:
  • Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance)
  • Familiarity with building materials
  • Able to measure and calculate material lengths
• High traffic warehouse and yard
• Physically demanding; outdoors in all weather conditions
